Our first dissolved air flotation (DAF) was installed at the Mostiště WTP, and it was also the first use of DAF technology for drinking water treatment in the Czech Republic.

ÚV Mostiště is located in the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands near Velké Meziříčí. It takes raw water for treatment from the Mostiště water reservoir, which is located on the Oslava River. The main problem with the quality of the water in the tank is, among other things, its excessive usability, which causes signs of eutrophication, which are regularly observed in the tank and significantly worsen the quality of raw water taken by the treatment plant.
